It’s been weeks after the 73rd Annual Golden Globes concluded but the ladies at the The Styled Things are still hung over from the jaw-dropping ensembles that stunned on the red carpet. From Emmy Rossum’s flawless red Privé to Taylor Schilling’s shimmering Thakoon suit, here’s a rundown of our favorites.
1 – EMMY ROSSUM IN ARMANI PRIVÉ
Emmy Rossum looks stunning in this red-hot Giorgio Armani Prive’ and Brian Atwood shoes. Her retro red lip and dramatic eye makeup matches her dress. The whole look is a little matchy-matchy but the Shameless lead star pulled it off. In fact, we believe she’s the closest thing to perfection in this star-studded event.
2 – ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY IN ATELIER VERSACE
Model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley walked the red carpet wearing a beaded fringe Atelier Versace in gold, Jimmy Choo clutch and shoes, and a sparkling Neil Lane engagement ring.
3 – KATE BOSWORTH IN DOLCE & GABBANA
Kate Bosworth brought her A-game to the Golden Globes red carpet, clad in a fabulous pink sequined strapless Dolce & Gabbana. As if the dress is not sparkly enough, Kate paired it with Norman Silverman diamonds and Christian Loubotin shoes. She certainly looked like a million-dollar.
4 – CATE BLANCHETT IN GIVENCHY HAUTE COUTURE
This pale pink Givency Haute Couture number made the 46-year old actress simply stunning. Cate Blanchett looked gorgeous in this show-stopping twenties-inspired fringe with a high neckline and quarter-length sleeves.
5 – EMILIA CLARKE IN VALENTINO
The Game of Thrones actress turned heads as she made her way down the red carpet in a black caped gown designed by Valentino. Emilia Clark is channeling her inner khaleesi as she takes risk in this close-necklined, lacy number. She’s every bit of a queen in this ensemble. Truly the one and only mother of dragons!
6 – JENNIFER LOPEZ IN GIAMBATTISTA VALLI
If not for J-Lo, this Giambattista Vallie haute couture would look costume-y! Yellow is a hard color to pull off but the singer, host, actress made sure to make a statement in this eye-searing mustard gown . The conservative piece has strong, angular sleeves, and a long wrapped skirt with a high slit that showed off her toned legs and Jimmy Choo heels. Add to these accessories made with over 200 carats of jewels and there we have one of the best looks of the night.
7 – ROONEY MARA IN ALEXANDER MCQUEEN
Fashion risk taker Rooney Mara hit the red carpet with a ruffled Alexander McQueen creation paired with a fierce braid. Mara’s nude slip dress complements her dramatic makeup and risqué hair style that got the press talking the day after.
8- LILY JAMES IN MARCHESA
Lily James smoldered in this semi sheer Marchesa wrap around number, looking every inch the fairy-tale princess on the red carpet. The feminine, Grecian-style white gown is balanced with a dramatic smokey eye look that captured her youth.
9 – Amber Heard in Gucci
Amber is wearing a Gucci Couture gown, shoes, and bag, and jewelry from Neil Lane. The flowy, rosy pink Gucci gown is a perfect combination of textures, colors, and cuts.
10 – TAYLOR SCHILLING IN THAKOON
Fierce, strong, and elegant. This black Thakoon suit fits Taylor Schilling perfectly. She donned a chic ensemble that successfully stood out in a sea of floor-length, sparkling gowns. Now, that’s what we call a fashion statement!
